The cost is great, but the price of submission is far greater.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"297\">I see a new nation\u2014not an empire, but a <strong data-start=\"249\" data-end=\"261\">republic<\/strong>. A republic of <strong data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"294\">laws, not men<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"453\">We stand in the midst of a revolution\u2014not of muskets and cannons, but of choices. How few in history have had the power to decide their future. <em data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"451\">We do.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"595\">I am not without apprehension, but the end we seek is worth the fight. <strong data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"593\">My judgment approves this measure, and my whole heart is in it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"655\">While I live, let me have a country. <strong data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"653\">A free country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"757\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">#DemocracyNotAutocracy #WeThePeople #FightForFreedom #RepublicOfLaws #TheHourHasCome #AmericanSpirit<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Measures that will shape the lives of millions\u2014born and unborn\u2014are now before us.
